Each of Anne Büscher's works can be seen as an artistic experiment in which she stretches the commonly perceived function and reality of the involved materials and techniques. Her work develops from the tension between research, seeking for materials, and innovative processes of making. She seeks to reveal potential in diverse (physical) phenomena.

Her aim is to bring the unseen to awareness, allowing for new possible ways of looking at reality and creating a sensibility for transient materials such as light, air, and electricity.
